On an e-bike you can travel further and faster than you can on a normal mountain bike. You can explore new trails and get the most out of every watt. But there a few skills you will need to practise in order to overcome trail obstacles on an E-MTB, which have to be dealt with a little differently than on a conventional bike.

Obstacles such as rivers and pedal striking require a little more forethought because of the added weight, position and delicate electric nature of the battery and motor.
